Old Fashioneds are made very well and the donuts are a crowd pleaser. Usually packed.
Everything came out super quick. Our server was very accommodating. The truffle pizza was very flavorful with fresh mushrooms and roasted garlic on it. The grilled octopus was very tender but it lacked flavor. The lemon sauce was kind of bland. The baked lasagna my friend's daughter had, they said it was scrumptious. We sat outside so that we could ppl watch. Lol It seems like a very family friendly restaurant. If ever in the loop in Chicago again I would return.
Professional and timely service. We were able to make a reservation online for the day before. GM Tim was awesome. They have great indoor booths and high tops. Also room upstairs, but it was in use for a private event. They have outdoor seating in front which is covered, but a little toasty with the heat. Great drinks and frozen cocktails for a hot day. Food was good, but not my favorite pasta. (I'm a pasta snob so it's not fair--everyone else loved it.) Would recommended this spot and would be back again.
We came here for a late night snack and drinks. Pizza was great. The crust is so soft on the I side and crunchy on the outside.
Service was fine Outdoor seating was fine The sienna chopped salad was so good, I've been craving it ever since we left. I NEED to know what kind of dressing and if they'll sell it to me. I would eat this salad everyday if I could. Please give me another salad I need it Lasagna was good and a large portion My friend said the Octopus was good but wished there was more My friend said the gnocchi was okay but a little too spicy for her
And for dinner Pizza and Bomboloni, you can never go wrong with this. Lovely location with great outside patio
I don't have much to say on Bar Siena because we ordered pizza from here on doordash, but we thought it was pretty good!! Definitely made me want to go in person to try more things! Would recommend getting pizza from here if you go!!!!
This is maybe my second or maybe third visit, I've previously found the food here to be just "okay". But, let me tell you, trying their pizza for the first time was a game-changer--I'll definitely be coming back for more. The pizza vanished so quickly, we couldn't even snap a full picture before diving in. We started off the meal with a cabernet, and wished we had room for dessert. Despite a busy summer evening, the service was excellent--efficient yet unhurried, which is always top tier in my book. The ambiance is a balance between upscale and laid-back, making it ideal for a night out with friends or for impressing your out-of-town parents.
